ITS specialist MAV Systems has been named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s Transport Technology agreement (RM6347), enabling UK public sector organisations to purchase directly from the company’s range of AI-powered ANPR and smart transport solutions.
The UK-based firm has been approved across seven lots on the framework, including professional services, parking management, enforcement and compliance, security, and several active and passive infrastructure categories covering network devices, cabinets, lighting, electrical systems, and detector technology.
The framework listing gives all UK public sector organisations, including central government, local authorities, police forces, NHS bodies, and devolved administrations, direct purchasing access to MAV’s offerings, with the company’s MAV AiQ platform at the centre of its portfolio.
“We’re proud to be part of the CCS Transport Technology agreement,” says Andy Humphries, managing director of MAV Systems. “This enables public sector organisations to access our industry-leading ANPR and smart imaging technologies more easily, helping to deliver safer, greener, and more efficient transport systems across the UK.”
The MAV AiQ platform is an AI-enhanced automatic number plate recognition and imaging system designed for traffic enforcement, parking management, clean air zones, environmental monitoring, and connected infrastructure applications. The company’s framework offerings span networking infrastructure for real-time data connectivity, smart detection and communication technologies, and advanced ANPR systems for policing, parking, and public safety applications.
Crown Commercial Service, an executive agency of the Cabinet Office, supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2024/25, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £5.3 billion.
