Umovity, the unified brand bringing together Econolite and PTV Group, has revealed key appointments to its executive leadership. The company has named Nick Ghia as CEO of Umovity Software and Spiro Gjorgjievski as CEO of Umovity ITS, with Umovity Group CEO Andy Myers welcoming both leaders to drive the organization’s expansion.
These leadership additions strengthen Umovity’s commitment to advancing software innovation and intelligent transportation systems. “Umovity’s potential is immense – powered by our people, our technology, and our shared vision for sustainable, safe, and efficient mobility,” says Andy Myers, who took up his role as CEO of Umovity last month. “I’m truly happy to have such strong leaders at my side as we shape the future of Umovity together. With Nick and Spiro, we will further accelerate growth in our core technology areas while continuing to leverage revenue synergies across Umovity.”
As the incoming CEO of Umovity Software, Ghia arrives with extensive experience leading international teams and delivering growth across multiple markets. His background includes senior commercial and P&L leadership positions at JT Robinson (a Fortune 500 company) and Transporeon, which is now owned by Trimble, where his most recent position was Chief Revenue Officer.

“I am excited about the enormous potential and impact that Umovity brings through its market position, talented experts, and cutting-edge technology,” says Ghia. “Together, we have a unique opportunity to shape the future of mobility by combining innovation, customer focus, and collaboration across our teams worldwide.”
Gjorgjievski becomes CEO of Umovity ITS with significant leadership credentials in the SaaS, infrastructure, and mobility technology industries. His background includes extensive global P&L management experience, M&A execution, and leading operational transformations at industrial technology firms. Most recently serving as President of EcoLane, a trial technology company operating for over 500 years, he has consistently delivered revenue growth and organizational excellence throughout his career, fostering initiatives in customer relationships, strengthened portfolios, and advanced AI-driven innovation.
“I’m thrilled to join Umovity at such a pivotal moment and to continue shaping the purpose behind its technology,” says Gjorgjievski. “Umovity sits at the intersection of infrastructure, data, and innovation — where intelligent systems adapt to people, not the other way around. Our focus is on delivering real-world outcomes that advance safety, efficiency and trust in mobility.”
The two CEO appointments demonstrate Umovity’s strategy to strengthen customer engagement and encourage closer collaboration between its software and ITS technology divisions. With focused leadership in each segment, the company seeks to drive innovation, enhance operational performance, and grow its presence in global mobility and transportation technology markets.
