Dutch intelligent transport systems firm Monotch has launched a major update to its TLEX real-time data-sharing platform today at Intertraffic Amsterdam — and has also taken home the event’s User Experience Award for TLEX Interchange, announced at this morning’s opening ceremony.
The Amsterdam-based company describes TLEX as a data-sharing layer that connects road infrastructure, road users, applications, artificial intelligence models and data-exchange networks. The updated release is designed to simplify deployment, reduce implementation effort and accelerate the activation of digital mobility services.
Plug-and-play architecture
The update introduces a modular, plug-and-play architecture intended to reduce onboarding complexity for infrastructure operators, service providers and partners. Key capabilities in the new release include:
- Simplified ecosystem onboarding for infrastructure, service providers and partners
- Fine-grained governance over policies, data access and operational oversight
- Streamlined application and AI integration to reduce time from deployment to operation
- Predefined support packages to reduce complexity and shorten time to operational impact
Authorities can begin with a focused deployment and expand incrementally without rebuilding their existing digital infrastructure, according to Monotch.
From integration to impact

User Experience Award and live demonstrations
The User Experience Award win for TLEX Interchange, presented at this morning’s opening ceremony, coincides with the first live demonstrations of the updated platform. Monotch is showcasing real-time deployment, ecosystem integration and scalable service activation at booth 02.227 throughout the show.
