Antaira Technologies, based in Las Vegas, Nevada, has launched the LSP Series, a new line of multi-port Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) surge protection devices designed for outdoor and roadside deployment in intelligent transportation systems (ITS) and other infrastructure applications.

The IP30-rated units are DIN-rail or wall mountable and are built to operate across a temperature range of -40°F to 167°F (-40°C to 75°C). The series is offered in two configurations: the dual-port LSP-0200X-bt-100-T and the four-port LSP-0400X-bt-100-T. Both deliver 100W of 802.3bt PoE++ pass-through power and support data rates from 10/100M up to 10GbE.

“Our new LSP Series safeguards PoE devices up to 100W, ensuring operational continuity for the critical systems that depend on them,” said Joe Cook, general manager at Antaira Technologies.

ITS and other applications

For transportation applications, Antaira lists the devices as suited to protecting traffic cameras, license plate recognition (LPR) systems, roadside communication devices and digital message signs from power surges. The company also lists security and surveillance cameras at intersections, wireless networking equipment, industrial automation systems, smart city infrastructure, EV charging communications equipment, and transportation hubs including airports, seaports, rail stations and transit facilities among target applications.

The LSP Series is available now through Antaira’s sales team or via the company’s website.
