US Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announces new USDOT leadership team

The USDOT has announced new members of its leadership team who will be working to implement President Trump’s agenda alongside the nearly 55,000 civil servants already working in the department.

“President Trump has entrusted this team to work tirelessly to reaffirm American’s complete confidence in the safety of our transportation systems,” said US Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy. “It’s been nothing short of incredible seeing this team leap into action after [the Washington DC air crash] tragedy. Our focus remains on ushering in a golden age of transportation while prioritizing the department’s core mission of safety and delivering innovative projects that move America.”  

Last week President Trump also named Chris Rocheleau Acting Administrator of the FAA. He is responsible for leading the safe and efficient operation of the largest aerospace system in the world.

Rocheleau previously served the FAA with distinction for over 20 years in multiple roles including Deputy Associate Administrator for Aviation Safety; Chief of Staff; Deputy Associate Administrator for Policy, International Affairs and Environment; Executive Director for International Affairs, and Director of National Security Programs, Emergency Operations and Investigations.
