ITS SEVILLE: Sampo Hietanen to speak at Nordic+ Pavillion

Trailblazing Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) pinoeer Sampo Hietanen is to speak at the Nordic+ Pavilion on Monday, May 19 at 13:30, with a presentation titled How to Speed Up Investment into Mobility Innovation in Europe, at the ITS European Congress in Seville.

Finland is preparing to make a strong impression at the event at the Nordic+ Pavilion, Stand E5, with a host of other Finnish innovators showcasing their advancements.

The Finnish organizations are transforming mobility through advanced technology, collaboration, and sustainable strategies. Among them will be CGI, a global leader in IT and business consulting, known for its data-driven solutions in smart mobility; Tietoevry, a key player focused on digital engineering and data-driven mobility services, Triplesign, which will be showcasing its super-efficient low-energy VMS solutions; traffic management giants Fintraffic; and autonomous systems experts Vamos Ecosystem.

There will also be public-sector representatives from the Finish government agency Traficom and the City of Tampere; academics from VTT; and industry associations in the form of ITS Finland and Business Tampere, which serve to unite government, cities, academia and industry to innovate in intelligent transport and facilitate businesses opportunities.

The Nordic+ Pavilion is aiming to connect professionals for partnerships, insights, and inspiration, aiming to build a smarter, greener, and more connected urban future at the ITS European Congress Seville, FIBES – Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos de Sevilla, Spain, May 19-21, 2025.
