Visitors to Stand B7 at the ITS European Congress in Seville can find out more about the TLEX platform from Monotch, which breaks down barriers for connected mobility thanks to its ability to be deployed rapidly for real-world use cases
The barriers are no longer technical. They’re operational: costly integrations, vendor lock-ins, and fragmented infrastructure continue to hinder the digital transformation.
That’s why Monotch is making 2025 the year to break through those barriers. Drawing on lessons from large-scale deployments like UDAP in the Netherlands and Mobilidata in Belgium, the company is introducing a new version of its Traffic Live Exchange platform (TLEX) – one that simplifies implementation processes and dramatically lowers the threshold for both public and private stakeholders to adopt connected mobility at scale.
Real-time cooperation
TLEX has already proven itself as a reliable, real-time platform for connected mobility, securely handling the exchange of billions of messages every day. It’s role in large-scale deployments demonstrates that success in connected mobility isn’t just about exchanging data, but about ensuring that data is structured, verified, and governed in real-time. Stakeholders require confidence in the quality and security of the data that flows through their systems. TLEX delivers that, acting as a unifying layer that enables meaningful coordination between infrastructure, road users, and digital services.

Modular architecture built for scale
The new TLEX is a significant step forward in delivering digital infrastructure for connected mobility. As it is deployment-ready, it replaces bespoke projects with a modular setup of standardized components. At its core are four interoperable “docks” that connect infrastructure, road users, use-case applications and data networks. Different engines power the eight key functional areas: data sharing, data transformation, connecting field equipment and road users, verification and diagnostics, policy enforcement, application ecosystem and federation. Together, they turn raw data into reliable, actionable streams – governed, secure, and instantly usable.
“Thanks to its open architecture, TLEX offers seamless plug-and-play integration with both legacy systems and modern platforms”
Use-case support packages
Additionally, the platform offers plug-and-play use-case support packages. These modular bundles combine dashboards, KPIs, preloaded policies, quality control features and data transformations to activate specific use cases with minimal effort. The first three packages – Emergency Vehicle Approaching (EVA), Road Works Warning (RWW), and Time-to-Green/ GLOSA – enable immediate deployment of tested scenarios, with no custom development needed. New use cases can be added incrementally as needs evolve. The result is a scalable, future-proof architecture that brings the vision of a connected mobility ecosystem to life, making it tangible and accessible.

From use-case to rollout
Deploying digital infrastructure no longer needs to be complex or time-consuming. With the new version of TLEX, software deployment can be completed in as little as 15 minutes, eliminating lengthy onboarding processes.
The platform is conveniently available in the Azure Marketplace, enabling direct deployment into the customer’s cloud environment, along with automated maintenance and updates. For added convenience, licensing and billing can also be handled through Azure, streamlining procurement and accelerating time to operation. Whether hosted in a private cloud, public cloud, or on-premises, TLEX gives complete control to the operator while reducing setup time.
This makes it equally suited for both scalable production environments and small-scale pilots, thereby lowering the barrier to entry for anyone ready to take the next step. Whether an organization is planning a comprehensive mobility overhaul or looking to improve a specific aspect of its transportation system, TLEX can scale to meet specific needs.
A platform designed to grow with the ecosystem
TLEX is designed for continuous growth, not only in functionality but also in interoperability across the mobility landscape. Monotch continually expands the platform with new interfaces and message types to support emerging use cases and local variations.
Thanks to its open architecture, TLEX offers seamless plug-and-play integration with both legacy systems and modern platforms. It is already connected to leading suppliers, service providers, and OEMs across Europe, making it one of the most integrated and deploymentready solutions available today. For both public and private stakeholders, this ecosystem enables faster implementation, lower integration costs, and immediate access to a growing network of trusted partners.
In short, the TLEX platform removes barriers not only at the technical level but also at the ecosystem level, enabling a fundamental and scalable transformation of mobility across the entire value chain.
Partner models for shared revenue
With the new release of TLEX, Monotch is also launching a completely renewed partner program, designed to make integration and collaboration easier, faster, and more rewarding. The program allows partners to embed, extend, or white-label TLEX as part of their solutions, creating new opportunities for co-development and portfolio expansion.
At the heart of the program is a shared revenue model that rewards mutual growth: as the ecosystem grows, so does the opportunity for every partner involved. From technology providers and system integrators to service operators and OEMs, every organization benefits from a scalable and open approach to connected mobility.
Scalable impact
The need for a scalable, secure, and easy-to-deploy solution to connect the entire mobility ecosystem has never been greater. Connected mobility is no longer a future ambition – it’s a present-day requirement. However, only if it can be achieved without complexity, lengthy lead times, and high costs. With the new TLEX platform, that’s finally within reach. It brings together proven technology, simplified deployment, and an open ecosystem to accelerate adoption across the industry.
At ITS Seville, visitors can expect a sneak peek, and customers can now also plan demos online. The full rollout is scheduled for July. Monotch is currently actively engaging with partners, integrators, and public authorities to shape what’s next.
