Caltrans uses Spyder machine to clear landslide disruption and resume traffic services


This week, on Angeles Crest, State Route 2, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is using a special piece of machinery, called a Spyder, to clear a huge landslide and to create access for traffic as quickly as possible. A drone shows the clearing process in action.
