One of the USA’s leaders in cloud-based traffic management systems, All Traffic Solutions, has released four informative White Papers concerning: Smart Cities, radar speed displays, traffic calming methods, and parking management.

Located in Herndon, Virginia, All Traffic Solutions is recognized as an innovator in the traffic safety industry for integrating cloud technology into all of its products, which includes radar speed and variable message displays, imaging products, and intelligent transportation management systems. The company’s four new White Papers explore and offer solutions for some of the challenges facing the current transportation management industry.

The Smarter cities: Five ways to see results in 2017 paper explores the five core components of a successful smart city transportation initiative, and shares how to make use of the best new technologies, including the Internet of Things (IoT), and implement the right systems to become a smarter city, both today and into the future. It looks at the critical role of using data in decision making, and how managing transportation in a cloud-based environment enables municipalities to understand traffic flows, patterns, safety and trouble spots quickly and easily in real time, making it possible to effectively and proactively both manage for today and plan for tomorrow. The paper also explores the importance of smart traffic congestion management, smart safety initiatives, smart parking and remote cloud management, and why making decisions about the right transportation management projects that balance short-term gains with long-term results is the key to the success of smart cities.

The Three ways radar displays help you maximize resources and budget paper discusses different ways that law enforcement can use radar speed displays to achieve and sustain improved traffic safety in communities, the importance of using ongoing data and analytics for improved traffic calming and safety, and why together they are two of the most effective, practical and cost-efficient traffic calming tools available.

The Five ways to calm traffic – Which is right for you? paper looks at the five most widely used methods of speed control, and how incorporating a data-centric traffic calming system delivers the most effective and efficient traffic program management. It also explores why web-enabled radar speed displays are a cost effective and expedient solution to traffic calming, and how law enforcement, municipalities and traffic engineers can use real-time traffic data and analytics to identify areas most in need of remediation enforcement priorities.

The Cloud-based parking solutions for today’s enterprises paper explores parking management challenges and provides best practice technology-driven solutions that small to mid-size municipalities, as well as private organizations, such as hospitals, universities, airports and event arenas, can implement to overcome parking and traffic safety dilemmas now and in the future. It also looks at the optimization of existing parking and expansion to support urban and suburban growth, the need for round-the-clock parking availability, clear directional signage and communication with parkers, and providing adequate safety and security.
