Developer of some of the UK’s most widely-used infrastructure and asset management software, Yotta has signed a reseller agreement with Spanish IT systems provider Implemental Systems to assist with its expansion into Latin American and North African markets.

Starting a new phase in its international expansion, Yotta has signed a partnership agreement with Madrid-based Implemental Systems, a leading software supplier that already has a strong presence across the Latin American region and North Africa. As part of the reseller agreement, Implemental will incorporate Yotta’s Horizons visualized asset management software platform within a broader infrastructure systems package built for relevant government organizations, road concessions schemes, and highway owners and operators.

The partners are now actively focused on selling systems to existing customers and on winning new business. Implemental will carry out all of the on-site consulting with customers, most of the implementation work, and all of the project management, as well as providing local first-line support. Yotta will, in turn, supply the Horizons software, technical expertise and backup support to Implemental, as well as providing extensive product training to the Spanish team.

“We see huge potential in the Latin American and North African market. It is a large market with a growing population, but much of its highways infrastructure needs extensive modernization. So there is growing demand for investment in roads and asset management development,” explained Simon Topp, director of marketing and international business at Yotta.

“However, it is also a challenging and complex environment. Road concession schemes and toll roads form an important part of the market. The business culture and operational landscape is very different from the UK, and it’s difficult to navigate without experience, language skills, or local expertise. Implemental has a significant presence in the Latin American and North of Africa region, and in-depth local expertise built up from more than 20 years of working there. That’s why we believe working with them will be invaluable to us.

Jorge Rubín, CEO of Implemental, commented, “Our partnership with Yotta is an excellent fit for both parties and will bring extensive benefits to end customer organizations. As a leader in the provision of IT systems to government organizations, we are focused on adding high-value, differentiated software solutions to our portfolio. We believe Yotta’s Horizons will add significantly to our capabilities and the range of our offering to the Latin American and North of Africa marketplace, and open up new conversations for us in existing and new customer organizations.”
