Responsibilities include:

Great opportunity for a Senior Traffic Engineer in our growing Connecticut office•New England key clients include ConnDOT, MassDOT, NHDOT, RIDOT, Massport, MBTA and others Diverse project portfolio ranging from corridor studies, traffic simulation, MPT/MOT, transportation impact assessment pedestrian, Traffic Impact Studies and transit studies In addition to technical tasks, the position will entail report writing and the opportunity for presentation of work efforts. Opportunity to manage traffic engineering tasks and mentor junior staff. The position offers excellent room for advancement, growth, and independent work.


Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related

Engineering discipline is required at least 8 years experience in the field of traffic/transportation engineering

Strong written/oral communication skills

Experience supervising work of junior staff is requiredFamiliarity with local clients including

ConnDOT, MassDOT, MassPort, MBTA, NHDOT and RIDOT is required

Proficient in software packages such as Synchro, HCS, Microsoft Office Suite etc. is required PE and PTOE are preferred Familiarity with transportation simulation and planning level modeling packages including Travel Demand Modeling (TDM), SimTraffic, Vissim, Cube, Tranplan, and Aimsun is preferred.
