Traffic Analysis Engineer - Transportation Engineer 2 In-Training – Washington State Department of Transportation

Salary: US$50,292-US$74,604 (annually, depending on qualifications)

The Opportunity:
WSDOT is currently looking for enthusiastic engineers who have a passion for creative and innovative solutions for the state-highway transportation system.

We are looking for an entry-level or mid-level engineer who wants to dive into all elements of traffic analysis, design and operations.

The successful candidate will utilize traffic modeling applications such as VISSIM and Synchro to develop concepts and review models developed by our partners. 

These tools help define the concept of a project, and your investigations influence the direction of important decisions such as the type of intersection control (roundabout or traffic signal) or the type/layout of interchanges.
