Transportation Modeler

Salary: £32-40k per annum

Leading independent traffic modeling consultancy, Braidwood Associates, has a requirement for a dynamic, highly motivated Transportation Modeler to join its Edinburgh office. A minimum of three years experience in transport microsimulation modeling is required and the role will involve undertaking a variety of high profile national and international projects primarily within the US and Canada. 

Candidates will have a relevant transportation degree or equivalent and have good experience in microsimulation and a good understanding of industry calibration and validation standards. Some experience in training staff would be beneficial, but this is not essential. Candidates should also have experience of and be capable of managing and delivering simulation projects, and have the ability to work to deadlines.

The successful candidate will be part of a small, successful team working on high profile microsimulation projects, which will involve development of highway and urban model development.
