TRL Software has announced that it is has begun shipping Vissim Link software for its Transyt 13 traffic signal optimiser that automates the input of data from PTV’s Vissim system.
The development has been developed to help connect Transyt’s signal optimization capabilities with Vissim’s micro simulation modelling of complex networks.
Harry Flexman from RPS Group, who beta-tested the software, says, “Overall, I found the Transyt-Vissim link easy to use and the user guide helpful when running things for the first time. This is a very powerful and useful tool, and I look forward to using the commercial release of it on my next Vissim project.”
TRL Software says it is seeking partners to expand its sales and support channels around the world.
