All Traffic Solutions highlights its parking counting technology at two events

One of the leaders in cloud-based traffic management systems, All Traffic Solutions will spotlight its ParkTrak parking counting system at this week’s 2017 ASIS International Conference, which is taking place in Dallas, Texas, on September 26-28.

ParkTrak will also be showcased at the National Parking Association Conference, which is taking place in Palm Springs, California, the following week on October 2-5. Pre-configured for cellular connectivity with All Traffic’s TraffiCloud cloud-based traffic management ecosystem, ParkTrak uses directional logic for detection, which delivers higher accuracy than loops or cameras, and enables the device to recognize vehicles that are backing up, entering or exiting in the wrong direction or tailgating, as well as other anomalies such as pedestrians, shopping carts and bicycles.

The ParkTrak device mounts on a ceiling, pole or wall in under one day without cutting the cement, asphalt or other surfaces to install, and uses lasers and directional logic to detect and count vehicles in one direction or bi-directionally.

ParkTrak can be used for indoor or outdoor facility entrances and exits, integrates with other systems, offers a simple data download from any internet connection, and comes pre-configured for TraffiCloud, including cellular connectivity, so operators can immediately share data, push occupancy information to variable message signs, and update Twitter feeds for parkers.

The company says it is the first plug-and-play parking counting system that delivers more than 98% accuracy, and will be using both events to demonstrate how its web-based technology and systems can help with the fundamentals of prevention and preparedness planning in and around corporate facilities, universities, airports, healthcare facilities, sports and entertainment venues, military campuses and smart cities projects.

All Traffic will also be hosting a live webinar tomorrow (September 26) featuring Scott Belcher (right), the former president and CEO of ITS America.

The ‘How Intelligent Transportation Departments Can Benefit from Cloud-based Traffic Management & IoT’ webinar is intended to be of particular interest to professionals working with departments of transportation (DOTs), public works agencies and traffic engineers who want to learn about the best strategies and technology innovations for ITS and smart cities.

“DOTs want to know the best strategies for managing their transportation ecosystems, now and for the future,” said Jim Weaver, All Traffic Solutions’s president and CEO. “We’re so pleased that Scott Belcher will join us to share his unique perspectives on technologies, trends and innovations in ITS, and where transportation technology will take us.”
