Amano McGann and Streetline have announced a collaboration to deliver next-generation parking automation systems for parking operators, municipalities and universities. Under the agreement, the two companies will jointly introduce and sell a fully integrated package, which will combine automation and signage equipment from Amano with Streetline’s vehicle sensing technology and smart parking cell phone applications, including ParkSight for analytics and reporting, ParkEdge for garage and lot operators, and Parker for consumer guidance. For off-street garage and parking lot operators, the partnersip will integrate real-time data from Amano with Streetline garage and consumer applications, providing both operators and consumers rich new data to enhance revenue management and consumer services. For customers managing on-street parking, the collaboration will use Streetline’s sensor network technology and applications, including ParkSight with advanced analytics and Amano’s on-street parking management capability and electronic signage.
“With more parking operators, municipalities and universities managing both on-street and off-street parking, solutions that not only address back-end operational needs, but strengthen the front-end consumer relationship and experience, are in demand,” said Larry Feuer, president and CEO of Amano McGann. “As we looked across the market at the next-generation technologies that best complement our portfolio, we found Streetline to be the most compelling fit; offering a fully integrated platform that addresses the needs across private operators, municipalities, universities, and consumers. This partnership is yet another example of how we continue to innovate to transform parking operations and gives us a complete, next-generation parking automation solution that again raises the bar.”
“There’s a growing demand for a holistic view of the entire parking process, from a facility’s operation to a consumer’s experience; from on-street to off-street,” noted Zia Yusuf, president and CEO of Streetline. “The joint solutions from our two companies will give parking operators, municipalities, and universities a comprehensive view of their parking operations and provide a means to offer advanced consumer-facing differentiators, such as signage, way-finding applications, guidance via in-car navigation, or even special offers and reservation capabilities. We’re very excited to partner with industry leader Amano McGann to bring this first-of-its-kind, comprehensive and fully-integrated parking automation portfolio to customers.”
