ATS outgrows its HQ

American Traffic Solutions will move into new headquarters next month. The Arizona company specializes in traffic camera systems and will occupy more than 2,000m² of offices in Scottsdale Airpark – taking on another 1,000m² later in the year to accommodate its growing business.

The new site will house executive offices, software development, a 50-desk call center, data center, and parts warehouse. About 200 staff will work there and it has capacity to house 450 within two years. Some field operations will be maintained in Mesa.

ATS has some 110 contracts in 15 US states and operates more than 1,000 cameras. Developments expected this year include supplying average speed cameras. ATS also wants to expand its PlatePass service, which allows rental-car customers to automatically charge highway tolls to their credit cards instead of using cash.
