ALK Technologies has announced that its PC*MILER Solutions now integrate with Oracle Transportation Management 6.1, a global transportation management system that helps streamline planning, execution, financial settlement, visibility, and business process automation across all modes of transportation.
The integration involves numerous PC*MILER products, including PC*MILER|Streets, PC*MILER|Rail, and PC*MILER|Worldwide to provide Oracle users with accurate, up-to-date routing and distance calculations.
Oracle Transportation Management delivers transportation planning and execution capabilities to shippers and third party logistics providers. It integrates and helps streamline all aspects of transportation management on a single application across all modes of transportation, from full truckload to complex multi-leg air, ocean and rail shipments. It enables lower transportation costs and improved customer service.
