Jupiter Systems announces record 2009 sales to China

Display wall technology manufacturer, Jupiter Systems, has announced record 2009 sales of its Fusion and PixelNet display wall processors in China. The company’s products are used in command and control visualization systems by transportation, traffic management and public security agencies throughout the country. “Jupiter’s high performance display wall processors are central to many of China’s largest installations,” says Guomin Zhang, general manager of Jupiter Systems China. “Our installations in China include the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, which has a wall comprised of 56 individual displays; and the Beijing Traffic Management Bureau that uses a large display wall of 16 x 7 or 112 displays, which was originally built for the 2008 Olympics.”

“Jupiter Systems' strong growth can be attributed to many factors,” says Brady O Bruce, the company’s vice president of marketing and strategic alliances. “Record Chinese investment in infrastructure, from highways to airports and security, has helped fuel the country's strong economic growth, as have the energy and enterprise of its people. These factors, combined with the company’s early investment in China, which includes a fully-owned subsidiary with full manufacturing capability, a strong base of Chinese partners, and our high performance products, have made us well positioned for growth.”

“Last year, our Chinese subsidiary experienced substantial growth,” says Chuck Kelley, chairman of Jupiter Systems China. “This year, we expect China to grow dramatically, once again delivering the second largest single country contribution to the company’s global revenues.”
